The founders of Alexis J. David 20th Century Gallery have over twenty years of collaboration on residential interior design. Their mutual passion for collecting mid-century modern furniture and accessories has resulted in the extensive and varied collection they now offer through their website. Their motto has, and continues to be: “We only purchase what we would live with in our own homes.”
The collection reflects their personal esthetic. The emphasis is not only on the revered names of the period such as Paul Evans, Karl Springer, Vladimir Kagan and Milo Baughman, but also on exciting unknown designers who produced high end quality pieces with a unique perspective from the mid-century period.
